Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | • Complex behavioral audiometry (VRA, CPA, conventional) • Advanced hearing aid and bone conduction device management for patients of all ages (infancy through adulthood) • Identify pediatric cochlear implant candidates • Routine cochlear implant programming and monitoring (independently or with support) • Detail oriented documentation and participation in collaborative/interdisciplinary case management |
