 Position Description 
 We are seeking an exceptional, enthusiastic, and motivated 4th-Year Audiology Extern to join our team for the 2026&#38;ndash;2027 academic year (June/July 2026 through June/July 2027). The extern will have the opportunity to gain hands-on clinical experience in all aspects of audiologic care while working under the supervision of experienced Doctors of Audiology in a busy, medically oriented private practice setting. 
 Responsibilities 
 
 Conduct comprehensive audiologic evaluations for geriatric populations 
 Perform hearing aid consultations, fittings, counseling, and follow-up care 
 Assist with tinnitus assessment and management 
 Participate in community outreach and hearing health education events 
 Collaborate with clinical staff and referring physicians to ensure optimal patient care

 About Our Clinic 
 We are a busy, patient-centered audiology clinic providing comprehensive hearing and balance care across the lifespan. Our practice emphasizes evidence-based diagnostics, advanced vestibular assessment, and individualized hearing and tinnitus management including Lenire&#38;reg; bimodal neuromodulation. Externs are fully integrated into clinical care and receive hands-on experience with a wide range of diagnostic and rehabilitative services. 
 Externship Overview 
 The Audiology Extern will gain extensive clinical experience under the supervision of licensed audiologists in both audiologic and vestibular diagnostics. This position is ideal for a motivated AuD student seeking strong preparation for independent clinical practice in a comprehensive setting. 
 Clinical Experience Includes 
 Audiology Services 
 
 
 Comprehensive diagnostic hearing evaluations for pediatric and adult patients 
 
 
 Hearing aid evaluations, fittings, verification, and follow-up care 
 
 
 Hearing aid troubleshooting, repairs, and patient counseling
