Arkansas Ear, Nose and Throat PA is busy, patient centered, established ENT practice with a brand new state of the art location with 1 Ear, Nose and Throat Physician and 1 Audiologist in North Little Rock, Arkansas. We are seeking to fill a full-time, paid (stipend), clinical Audiology 4th year externship position for the 2026-2027 academic year at our North Little Rock, Arkansas office. Students can expect exposure to a wide variety of audiological services in a fast-paced ENT setting including:
Comprehensive diagnostic audiometric evaluations (pediatric and adult)
Diagnostic vestibular evaluations, including VNGs, Vestibular testing and treatment
Fitting and selection of amplification and ALDs from all major manufacturers
Tinnitus evaluation, treatment counseling, and management
Collaboration with the ENT Physician with a wide range of ear disorders
Minimum requirements for Audiology externship: bachelor’s degree, eligibility for Audiology 4th year externship from accredited doctor of audiology (AuD) program.

Fundamental Audiometric evaluations with masking, Tympanograms, Otoscopy with independence Hearing Aid knowledge, basic repairs, real ear fundamentals. Emerging hearing aid clean and check skills Basic Hearing Aid Programming knowledge of ear disorders Counseling, Patient care skills
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship:
Increased Effeciency with Audiometric evaluations. Exposure to Surgical Ears, and wide variety of ear disorders VNGs and Caloric competency, Competency with Vestibular disorder treatment, such as Epley. Occassional Pediatric Testing Comptenecy fitting amplication from all major manufacterers, tinnitus treatment, Competeny with Manufacter websites and portals.
