Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | Candidate should posses the ability to perform independent hearing evaluation and have knowledge of hearing aid dispensing and counseling procedures. Knowledge of tinnitus, APD and other central auditory disorders is a plus, as is experience with education and FM systems, forensics, and occupational health.
