Denver Hearing Specialists has an exciting paid externship opportunity for the 2026-2027 year in Denver, Colorado! We are a private ENT practice that is locally owned and operated. We are located in a busy suburb and see a variety of complex otologic cases of all age groups!
Students can expect exposure to a wide variety of audiological services in a fast paced ENT setting including:
-Otoscopy
-Behavioral testing on adults and pediatrics (VRA and Play audiometry)
-OAEs
-Comprehensive VNG testing on adults
-BPPV evaluation and treatment (all diagnosis and treatments are performed by the AuD's)
-Hearing aid selection and fitting using real ear verification
-Tinnitus Retraining Therapy (TRT)
-Performing ear impressions for hearing protection and hearing aids
-Frequent manufacturer in office trainings
-BAHA fittings and activations post surgery
-Operating room observation opportunities for a variety of ear cases
-Assist with walk-in hearing aid repairs, supply purchases, etc.
-Assist with all administrative duties such as scheduling patients, answering phone/text messages, sending out repairs, and maintaining stock of supplies
