Join our Audiology Externship program in 2026 to immerse yourself in a comprehensive learning experience designed to prepare audiology students for successful careers. As an audiology extern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced audiologists in various clinical settings, gaining hands-on experience assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients with hearing and balance disorders. Through direct patient interactions, you will develop essential clinical skills in audiologic assessment, hearing aid selection and fitting, vestibular testing, auditory processing evaluations, and counseling. Additionally, you will participate in case conferences, observe surgeries, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care. This externship aims to foster professional growth and enhance your confidence in applying classroom knowledge to real-world scenarios. At the conclusion of the program, you will have a well-rounded understanding of audiology practices and be better prepared to transition into the workforce as a competent audiologist.
Enrollment in an accredited Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) program
