Audiologist needed in Tallahassee, FL (Audiology/ENT practice)
This position offers a great variety of diagnostics/treatment, and adults/pediatrics in a friendly and collaborative environment. There is dedicated time for ENT patients separate from own patients, and audiology support staff is available to assist AuD with appointments and administrative tasks. The ideal candidate possesses great people skills and is team oriented. Our group is the only ENT practice in the area. We see a wide variety of patients and pathologies which keeps the professional interested, engaged, and always learning. Responsibilities:
- Conduct basic audiologic test battery for adults and pediatrics as well as patient counseling and education
- Perform and interpret specialized diagnostic testing including ABR (mostly newborn/some adult), VNG and VEMP. Some ABRs in OR.
- BPPV treatment
- Conduct hearing aid consultation, dispense and fit amplification (no 3PAs) and follow-up care
- Ponto/Sentio and Osia providers
- Follow best practices for dispensing including real ear verification and electroacoustic analysis of hearing aids
- Aural Rehabilitation classes provided to patients
- There are many speaking and engagement opportunities in the community if that is something that interests the applicant
