| Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | Experience in audiological diagnostic testing (adult and pediatric) and Vestibular testing. This includes pure tone audiometry, masking, immittance testing, VRA/CPA, otoacoustic emissions, hearing aid repairs/modification, and hearing aid selection/fitting/programming. Along with experience of Vestibular testing is preferred. |
| Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | At the completion of the externship the student should be proficient in the following areas: Audiological diagnostic testing (adults and pediatrics), Hearing Aid selection, fitting, & programming. Along with VNG, canalith repositioning therapy, and ABR testing ability. |
