LEND Training Program
The Cincinnati LEND Program is part of a national network of 52 LEND programs across the country. The overall mission of LEND is to improve the health of infants, children, and adolescents with, or at risk for, neurodevelopmental and related disabilities including autism spectrum disorders (ASDs). In addition to obtaining proficiency in the competencies listed above, the LEND trainee will have a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, serve on an interdisciplinary team, conduct research and strengthen problem-solving skills essential for pediatric audiology. Participation in this program enhances professional growth and marketability post-graduation.
On Tuesday and Thursday afternoons, students will be participating in activities related to the LEND curriculum, including leadership, interdisciplinary and family observations, and group research projects. Please visit https://www.ucucedd.org/lend/ for additional information.
