This full-time role offers the chance to combine patient-care excellence with high-level business management, helping shape the future of our hearing services.
With a flexible 4- or 5-day schedule, you can achieve the work-life balance you are looking for while maintaining a 40-hour week. You will oversee departmental operations while still performing hearing screenings, comprehensive diagnostics, and hearing aid fittings for patients.

Key Responsibilities
Clinical & Team Leadership
Oversee day-to-day operations of the Audiology Department
Provide mentorship, training, scheduling, and performance support for staff Build rapport with patients through consultations and examinations to provide the best treatment plan for their lifestyle
Conduct diagnostic testing which includes comprehensive audiological evaluations
Dispense appropriate hearing care products to meet their needs and provide realistic expectations to ensure patient success
Business & Financial Management
Manage departmental budget, financial reporting, and A/R
Oversee payroll and staffing needs
Negotiate pricing with manufacturers and vendors
Order, track, and maintain stock of hearing aids, accessories, and supplies
Marketing & Outreach
Build and execute strategic marketing initiatives, including email blasts and community awareness campaigns
Conduct physician outreach to strengthen referral relationships
Participate in community events, health fairs, and off-site engagement opportunities
Collaborate on brand-building and patient-acquisition strategies
Qualifications
Masters or Doctorate degree in Audiology from an accredited program
Current or eligibility to obtain Audiology licensure in Connecticut
2+ years of clinic leadership or management experience
Strong business acumen and comfort with operational responsibilities
Excellent attention to detail, communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills
