Externship site expects the extern to have mastered these skills before they begin their clinical externship: | -Comprehensive Audiometric Diagnostic testing -Basic electrophysiologic testing -Vestibular (VNG) -Basic understanding of VEMP/vHIT testing - Basic knowledge of Cochlear implants/ BAHA -Hearing aid Evaluation/Fitting and Follow up -Auditory Processing Evaluation - Report writing |
Externship site expects the extern to learn/demonstrate these skills during their clinical externship: | - Audiometric eval (Infant/peds/adult) - Sedated and non sedated ABR (threshold and neurodiagnostic) -EcocHG - VNG/ cVEMP/oVEMP/CDP/vHIT/Rotary chair -Hearing aids eval/ fitting and follow up (REM) - Cochlear Implants/ BAHA |
