Blossom Hearing Center is an independent audiology and dispensing practice in Alexandria, Virginia. We are committed to providing the highest quality care to patients by using best practices, including real ear measures as standard practice for hearing aid programming. We are a small, friendly office and our providers treat patients with warmth and compassion.
We are searching for an audiologist to fill a part-time position who shares our practice’s values. The audiologist must possess excellent diagnostic and patient management skills, including the selection, dispensing, and verification of hearing aids and assistive listening devices from Oticon, Phonak, Widex, Signia, ReSound, and Starkey. The audiologist must also be able to perform cerumen removal using instrumentation and take ear impressions with gentle care. Computer skills, organizational skills, attention to details, punctuality, and appropriate professional demeanor and appearance are also necessary.
The audiologist must have an Au.D. degree and either have or be eligible for an audiology license and a hearing aid dispensing license in Virginia. Both entry-level and experienced audiologists are encouraged to apply.
Benefits: - Compensation: Base rate of $35-55 per hour, commensurate with experience - You will be covered under the practice’s professional liability insurance - After two years, you will be eligible to participate in the company's retirement plan
Office Hours: 9 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.
The part-time position includes working 9 am - 5 pm on Mondays. The schedule for other days (full or partial) will be discussed to our mutual satisfaction, including no less than one additional full day (two full days total) and up to an additional two half-days plus one full day (two full days and two half-days total).
