Audiologist
This position is located in the Audiology Service at the Southern Nevada Healthcare System. The duties and responsibilities are carried out throughout the medical center including all clinical and other patient care areas involved with the service. The incumbent at this full performance level is responsible for providing audiological services to patients who reside in a large geographical area. Duties may include travel to or oversite of the various buildings, PCCs, and/or CBOCs of the VA SNHCS. The audiologist at this level performs audiological assessments to determine type and degree of hearing loss, determine patient's need for amplification, predicts and measures effectiveness of amplification, determines need for and type of aural rehabilitation or cochlear implant and counseling of
